1000 Stitch Belt- 00101
This well-made tan-khaki 1000 Stitch Belt measures approximately 7.” high X 47.” long, not including the white cotton tie strings.
The front of the Senninbari has the characters for the slogan Ki Buun Chokyu or “I Pray Your Military Fortunes Are Long Lasting” spelled out in red cotton knots. Above and below the slogan, are two long horizontal lines of additional knots. Also stitched to the front of the One Thousand Stitch Belt is a 5-sen and a 10-sen good luck coin. In the center of the belt, there appears to be two rather large shrine or temple seals. Unfortunately, those are faded and I am unable to read them.
This is a nice large Senninbari from a recently purchased collection.
