Japanese National Flag-0002
This Japanese flag is made in the rarer 2 piece style. Both the white field and the center red orb are made from silk material. The field shows various stains and age toning throughout. 3 pencil eraser sized holes are located near the 3 o’clock position. These may have been caused by either bullet or shrapnel related damage. There are approximately 6 very small holes/areas of thinning near the 6 o’clock position. Both tie strings are in place in the right-hand corners. These have been sewn into place by added re-enforced stitching. This particular flag never had any corner tabs. Overall, the flag measures approximately 27.25″ High X 30.75″ Long. A nice national flag for framing or display in your collection room next to your good luck flag.
