Japanese National Flag 26.5″ high X 34.5″ long “SOLD”

This late-war silk, Japanese National Flag measures approximately 26.5″ high X 34.5″ long.  The flag came in a collection of other bring-backs that included a number of flags and militaria. The thin silk material is a rough, late-war type of silk that has age darkened. There are, however, no holes present. The fly and hoist side edges are re-enforced with added stitching. The brown paper corner tabs are made to look like leather. They are firmly in place, as are the tie strings. Overall, this is a really nice flag and would look great in a display.
