This Off-To-War Banner is made from a heavier white silk material that has age toned to a creme color. It measures approximately 13.50″ Wide X 69.50″ Long. There are various stains that may be seen throughout as well as small moth nips here and there. The woodblock art at the top of the banner displays the characters for “celebrating” a soldier going to war. Below these are crossed Japanese battle flag and national flag. Both flags hang from black and white striped poles, held together by green knotted cords. The characters on the banner say, “Celebration/Responding To Call/Mr. Kitabatake Kimio”. This nobori is in a nice, displayable length.
