Sake Cup-0011

This is a nice, patriotic Japanese sake cup.  It measures approximately 3.25-inches across.  There are  no chips or cracks in the porcelain. The gold leaf along the rim is slightly worn. The center design is of a large, crossed Japanese National Flag and Japanese Battle Flag.  The flags are lashed together by a thick, gold leaf cord.  Above the flags is a prominent Japanese Army star.  Two large, hand painted kanji characters are in the 6 o’clock position.  A colorful cup!
