I really like colorful sake cups and this one is no exception. It measures a full 2.25″ across and is in mint condition. While the exterior is plain, the inside has a prominent sakura or cherry blossom in the center. A map was drawn inside the flower and probably depicts various battle place names in China like Nanjing, etc. Near the upper aspect of the large flower, smaller cherry blossoms have been painted in gold leaf and pink paint. Individual cherry blossom pedals may be seen scattering around it. To the left, a gold leafed horse may be seen charging from out of the flower. Plenty of gold leafed kanji characters and a gold accented rim make this cup a looker!
