Sake Cup-0020

This classic Japanese sake cup meausueres approximately 3.25-inches across.  The gold leaf painted rim is only slightly worn. The center of the cup is beautifully painted with a crossed Japanese National Flag and Japanese Battle Flag. The red and white colored flags stand out nicely against the blue painted cords that tie the flag poles together. Everything is outlined in gold leaf paint that is in great condition. Gold leaf kanji characters are shown at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions. The cup is named on the bottom.  There are no chips or cracks on the porcelain.
